Noah’s’ sculpture is about form and materials and their ability to evoke renewed pleasure with repeated viewing. Delight in expression is important to him, he wishes the viewer to experience an uplift akin to the creative pleasure he get in the realisation of the work. As in his furniture and artefacts, found components are often, though not always, employed for their associative power. A sense of playfulness and lightness of being, despite the usually robust nature of the materials, is evident and deliberately manifested in the finished pieces.
